Sri Varaha Narasimha Swamy Temple is located on a hillock in a village called Shingarakonda, about 30 km from Ongole town in Prakasam district. The area is known as Old Shingarakonda. There are stairs to reach the top of the hill. The main building faces east and is built with a five-story wind tower. Devotees enter the temple through the south gate. In the sanctum sanctorum, Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swami appears in divine form. There are two other sanctuaries on either side of the headquarters. Sri Lakshmidevi on the south and Sri Andal Amma on the north. Swami in the field. Singarayakonda is also known as the Southern Simhachalam as it is measured in the form of Varaha Narasimha. Inscriptions state that it was built by the Vijayanagara kings between the years 1526-27 AD. The inscriptions reveal that the Swami gave lands to Sri Krishnadevarayas and Achutarayas for their services. The annual festivals along with the Swami's Nithya Pujas are held for nine days starting from Shuddhadashami in the month of Jashtam. Narasimha Jayanti celebrations are celebrated in the month of Vaishakh, Vaikuntha Ekadashi in the month of Margashira, and Andal Kalyanam in the month of Dhanur.

Sri Yogananda Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Koluvudiri is located in a cave some distance southeast of the main temple. It is reputed to be the prestige of Narada. The cave temple has a faade and a sanctum sanctorum. Sri Yogananda Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Ugramurti So the main entrance was built to some side, not opposite the Swami. Following the greatness of this shrine, there was a devotee of Narasimha Swami named Singanna. His daughter Narasamma used to go to Narasamma hill to graze cows during the day. Singanna noticed that one of the cows did not give many. He wondered why that cow was giving milk or not. Singanna also went up the hill to find out what the real thing was that did not give milk. The cow went to a stone on top of the hill and stopped. There was no end to Singanna's surprise to see a boy emerge from the rock and drink cow's milk. Singanna Mahadha was delighted to see his idol Narasimha Swami coming in the form of a boy and drinking milk, the scene himself Kanulara. Since he saw the boy appearing from the stone with his own eyes, Narasimha Swami built a temple for them there considering the stone as the most sacred. This is the temple.
