Raama janma bhumi - ayodya
Ayodhya is a shrine located on the banks of the Saryu River in the district of Pizabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Ayodhyapuram is famous as one of the 108 Divine Tirupati, the holy land where Lord Rama was born, and one of the liberating Saptapurams. Dasaratha Maharaja performed Putrakameshtiyagam here as a child. As a result of that sacrifice, Sri Ramachandra was born in Ayodhya as the son of Dasaratha Maharaj. Thus the town of Ayodhya became famous as the birthplace of Rama. The air, water, and soil in this field are so sacred! It is known that Manu, the son of Prajapati Brahma, built and ruled the city of Ayodhya as its capital. After this petition, his kingdom was divided between his nine sons and the area where Ayodhya was located passed to his eldest son Ikshvakuna. The kings who ruled this Ayodhya from then onwards are known as the descendants of Ikshwa. Vikukshi, the eldest son of Ikshvaku. One day Devendra came to fight the demons and asked for the help of this vikukshi. Also, he wore the form of a bull and carried this vicious man on his back. That is why Vikukshi got the name Kakutsudu. All the kings who ruled this Ayodhya after him were also called Kakutsus. Manu was followed by the twentieth generation Mandhata. Harishchandra ruled Ayodhya for another five generations after Mandhata. Another great emperor of this dynasty was Dilip. Raghu is the son of this Dilip. As Raghu performed many rituals and gained great prestige, the kings who ruled Ayodhya also came to be known as the Raghu dynasty. Sri Rama was the 65th generation after Manu. During his time, the capital of Ayodhya was known as Kosaladesam. Among the emperors who ruled Ayodhya, Mandhata, Sagara, Bhagirathi, Ambarishu, Dilip, and Sri Rama are said to be the greatest emperors in the Mahabharata story. Vikramaditya first built a shrine with quartz in the land of Sri Rama janma. Lord Jayachandran of Konoz repaired it.
It is said that Babur demolished it in 1526 AD and built a
mosque with its pillars. A Rama Mandir was built on the site of the mosque
after the formation of the Republic of India following clashes between Hindus
and Muslims over the dispute. Devotees still get a glimpse of Sri Rama's
birthplace under the watch of the military. Behind the Hanuman Temple, just
opposite the Birla Satra, is the birthplace of Lord Rama. Hanuman Temple is a
very ancient temple. According to local mythology, this is the place where Lord
Rama returned to Ayodhya after the slaughter of Ravana and established the
abode of Lord Hanuman while he was reigning. The residence of Lord Rama is
located on the street almost opposite to the Hanuman Temple. However, only one
day per year is allowed into the building. No admission on the remaining days.
We have to look from the outside. If you go a little further from the street
next to Sri Ramu's building and turn right there is a golden building. It is
said to be a Kaikei residential building. Also known as Sitadevi's abode. The
whole house is made of silver and gold-plated foil. The two ceremonial idols of
Sita Ram is made of pure gold and is very beautiful. While Lord Rama was in
exile, Bharata built an ashram outside and stayed there.
After the slaughter of Ravana, Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya
and met Lord Rama and Lord Bharat at this place, Bharat Milap. Dasharadhiraju The mandir is the place where Dasharatha's throne is located. Also known as
Padukamandiram, this place is said to be the place where Lord Rama, who brought
the shoes of Lord Rama in exile, kept and worshiped during the day. Going
beyond all the places where these temples are located, one comes across the
birthplace of Rama. At present, it looks like a small tent with idols of
Sitarama Lakshmana inside it. Valmiki Mandir Govindaraju Mandir and Char Dharma The mandir is three shrines located in one place. The main attractions of the
temple are the palace where Lord Rama was ordained, the palace where Lord Rama
reigned, the place where Dasharatha Putrakameshti was sacrificed, the Kaikei
Bhavan where Lord Bharata was born and Kausalya Bhavan, where Sumitra Bhavan,
the birthplace of Lakshmana and Shatrujnu, and the temple where Lord Rama was
born. Ananda Bhavan, which displays children's sports, Kaikei's Kopa Bhavan,
which looks like Dasharadhu's blessing, Sankata Vimochana Temple, Hanuman
Ghadi, Kalarama Mandir, etc. are some of the places worth visiting. Guptar
Ghat, Raja Ghat, Ram Ghat, Janaki Ghat, and Naya Ghat are some of the bathing
spots located on the banks of the river Sarayu. There is also Swargadwar where
Lord Rama incarnates. It is said that Lord Rama disappeared and incarnated in
this region.
