Vrindavan
Vrindavan is located at a distance of about 9 km from Mathura
in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Vrindavan is currently a small town. Situated on
the banks of the River Yamuna, this shrine is described as a place where Lord
Krishna sang rasa Lilas with gopis and was the venue for the love of Radha
Krishna. Radhe Shyam's remembrance can be heard all over the house in the
devotion of Krishna and the greetings of the locals. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu
danced in the streets of Pura. Meera Bhai, Suradas, and others listened to the
songs with devotion. It seems like we still have to see how much this band has
seen. Peacocks are abundant in this herd. This choir is full of halls. There
are 32 bathing spots on the banks of the adjacent Yamuna River, mainly about 7
temples to see.
Ranji Temple: This is a very ancient temple. The temple
belongs to the Vishishta Dvaita sect preached by Ramanujacharya. Therefore, the
temple was built in the style of a South Indian temple. The temple has a
flagpole plated with gold plated petals.
Govinda Devji Temple: This temple is very beautiful. It was
built by the Maharaja of Jaipur in the year 1590 AD on the orders of two gurus,
Sanatana, a form of Chaitanya Prabhu tradition. Govinda Devji Temple is one of
the great temples of India. The temple is also admired by many foreigners. It
is built on three floors with red limestone. The 7-storeyed temple of red stone
was demolished during the Mughal period. It currently has three floors.
Pagal Baba Temple: This is a magnificently built temple. From
bottom to top it looks like a small hilltop and is a great scenic structure
with 10 floors. On each floor of the temple, rooms were built with an iron
sieve for the surrounding walls. In these rooms, respectively, the events and
scenes in the stories of Ramayana, India, and Bhagavata are shown and electric
moving figures are set up. These figures move and impress the audience by
acting out the theme of the scene. On each floor, these moving figures show us
scenes of each epic and myth.
Nidhi Vanam: Nidhi Vanam is spread over an area of about 5
acres in this Vrindavana field. Known as the Tulsi Forest, this treasured forest
is located on the banks of the river Kalindi. The locals believe that Radha
Krishnas still roam the area every night at night. That is why no one goes to
this area at that time. Devotees carry this clay with devotional care as it is
the place where Radha Krishna performed Rasa Leela. Radha Devi's romantic home
is beautifully built in the Nidi forest known as Mukti Vanam.
Ban Ki Bihari Mandir: The source of this shrine is known as
Virat Vana Vihari. The temple was built in 1864. The famous singer, Tan Sen
Guru Sant Haridas, a devotee of Krishna, is said to have raised the idol of
Krishna from the ground for his singing melody. His tomb is also in the Nidi
forest. It is also visited by devotees.
Radha Rani Mandir: This shrine is located in the middle of
the Mukti Vanam and is very famous. Once upon a time, Lord Krishna was silent
and had nothing to say to Radha Radha Devi knew that this temple was built on
the spot where he hid his murali. Mirabai Mandir, Sri Radha Govinda Mandir,
Gopeshwara Mandir, Sri Lala Babu Mandir, Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir,
Kaliyamardana Ghat, Yamuna Rivers Bathing Ghats, Radha Ramana Mandir, Brahma
Chari Mandir, Sheesh Mandir, Tikaria Mandir, Govinda Jee, Gopanada Radha
Vallabhbhai, Madan Mohanji, Ashta Sakhi, Jaipur Mandir, Ananda Mai Mandir,
Cheer Ghat and Widow Bhajan Ashram are some of the places worth visiting.
Devotees consider the 60 km, a circumferential circuit known as the Chaurasikosh
Parikrama to be the most important part of the Vrindavana Yatra.
